PRODUCTION EXECUTION MANAGEMENT

Finite-capacity scheduling and order dispatch: receives production orders from the ERP system and schedules them across production lines and machines, managing priorities and optimizing the allocation of resources (materials, equipment, staff).

Resource management: monitoring the operational status of machines and equipment, facilitating their allocation and set-up.

Workforce management: tracking of working hours and operators’ skills to ensure the deployment of qualified staff and the accurate recording of working hours on the job order.

REAL-TIME PRODUCTION DATA COLLECTION

Automatic data acquisition (IIoT): automatic collection of data directly from machines (PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors) via standard industrial protocols, eliminating human error during data entry.

Performance monitoring: real-time calculation of key metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), cycle times, set-up times and causes of machine downtime.

Operator interfaces: provides operators with intuitive panels (HMIs) for entering contextual data (e.g. batch start/end, manual rejects, non-automatic stoppages). Furthermore, operators can access work instructions (technical drawings, assembly instructions, quality tests) digitally and promptly, directly on the production line.

TRACKING AND TRACEABILITY (TRACK & TRACE)

Batch traceability and product history: continuous tracking of the production batch and all raw materials used, from receipt (in conjunction with Esi WMS through to the finished product, with a record of the operations carried out.

Testing and inspection integration: direct link with Esi TEST to store and link the results of final inspections to each serial number.

Non-conformity management: opening, tracking and management of anomalies detected during the production cycle (scrap, defects), with the option of root cause analysis.

Task-based maintenance (PMS): supports preventive and predictive maintenance, triggering maintenance orders based on precise parameters (elapsed time, number of cycles performed, units produced).
