Yes. Our MES is designed with flexible interconnection modules. We use various technologies and protocols (including MQTT, OPC UA and direct connectors) to extract production data even from older machinery or equipment that is not natively ‘4.0’. This enables us to ensure comprehensive data collection (times, quantities, alarms) for the precise calculation of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and traceability, regardless of the age of the plant.

Our WMS uses advanced algorithms to optimize picking routes based on the physical layout of the warehouse and the type of order (e.g. batch picking, item picking, multi-order picking). The system suggests the most efficient picking sequence to the operator, reducing the distances travelled and minimizing order fulfilment times.

Timelines vary depending on the complexity and level of customization required. However, thanks to our Agile methodology and modular approach, we are able to deliver a functional MVP (Minimum Viable Product) in rapid cycles, enabling the client to realize the first benefits within 3–6 months. Full implementation takes place in successive, agreed-upon phases.

We offer various levels of support. Security updates and minor patches are released regularly. For major functional updates, we follow an agreed schedule. Technical support is available via a dedicated Help Desk (telephone and email), with guaranteed response times (SLA) based on the severity of the incident, to ensure operational continuity in production and logistics.

What is Esi MES?

Esi MES is the system that links business management (ERP) with the shop floor (machines and operators) in real time.

In summary, this is how it works:

Receives orders
It retrieves production orders from the ERP and converts them into digital instructions for the factory.
Collects data
It connects directly to machinery, sensors and terminals to automatically capture data (times, quantities produced, waste, machine downtime) in real time.
Optimizes and monitors
It presents this data in real time dashboards, allowing managers to monitor plant efficiency (OEE), manage quality and intervene immediately in the event of problems.

What is Esi WMS?

Esi WMS is the ‘digital brain’ that manages and optimizes all operations within your warehouse.

In short, this is how it works:

Guides inbound operations
It receives information on incoming goods, suggests the most efficient storage location (based on rotation and volume criteria) and guides the operator via handheld terminals.
Monitors stock
It maintains an accurate, real-time inventory (avoiding stock errors or shortages) and tracks every movement of batches and serial numbers.
Optimizes outbound operations
Calculates the fastest picking routes for orders, guides operators step by step and assists with packing and dispatch, ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly.

The goal: to make logistics faster, more accurate and more efficient, by optimizing space, reducing human error and speeding up delivery to the end customer.
